Welcome to Big Bear’s Bake Shop. My name is Denise and I’m so glad you stopped by. I’m a self-taught baker with a love for making people smile through tasting my delicious desserts. This is where you will find flavorful recipes that I make at home for my family. I am a wife and a mom to 5 beautiful children. 3 pandemic babies! Can you imagine all the recipes I came up with? In 2020 I really dove into baking and realized I had a real talent. I continued to work in sales and just bake on the side. Fast forward to 2021 when I lost my brother to a fentanyl overdose. I wanted to devote myself to keeping my brothers name alive and this was the best way to do so. He loved my food and everyone knew him as “Big Bear.” Recently I decided to leave my job and pour into baking. Everything I bake is made with LOVE! The best way he expressed himself.
